A Letter from Carissa

Dear ATTN Seattle Community,

This has been a very hard letter to write to you all. There has been a lot going on in my world and I've made the decision to step down from my role as Coach at ATTN and transition to just being a member of this amazing gym. Right now my focus needs to be on spending time with my family, especially my father. This decision has not come lightly, as I feel torn between family and the responsibilities I hold here. Ultimately, I know this is the right step for me at this time in my life, and I hope you can understand the love and thought behind it.

Shifting my role while remaining a member feels very bittersweet. ATTN is truly special- something we all feel and know in our hearts. Though we have only been a gym for just over a year, it feels like we've been doing this for years! Being part of its creation has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and I am so very grateful for it.

What has made my time at ATTN so special are the relationships I've had the privilege of building with all of you. Whether I've coached you for 10 years, a few months, or somewhere in between, I am very thankful for the trust you placed in me. It has truly been an honor to be part of your journeys.

I also want to share my deepest gratitude to my fellow coaches who have made this journey even more special. Working alongside such dedicated and passionate people has been a gift. I am especially thankful for Coach Brian and Coach Amado, who have been coaching with me the longest. Your partnership, support and friendship have meant so much to me. You've made every challenge worthwhile.

Additionally, I want to acknowledge Coach Andrew, who has been my mentor for over a year. His guidance, depth of knowledge and incredible support has taught me so much and has left a lasting impact on both my personal and professional growth. I am incredibly thankful.

My last day of Coaching will be Thursday, April 3rd. Coach Andrew will be taking over my classes.

This is not goodbye - just a change in my role. I look forward to continuing as an athlete at ATTN whenever I am able and staying connected to this amazing community.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me to be part of this incredible journey with you all.

Much gratitude,

Carissa
